Consider that you could set yourself up so your choices also spare yourself of things that don't really serve you and the highest good of all concerned.

You cannot destroy the True Self that expresses the inner wisdom. No matter what you do, it cannot be destroyed.

The ultimate is what we're dealing with. Along the way toward the ultimate, you can have a lot of people, a lot of things, a lot of experiences, a lot of laughs, a lot of jokes, a lot of illnesses, a lot of happiness.

If things in the past have seemed rough for you, it may be that the barriers to your Self were being ripped away. Once you see your own Soul, once you can glimpse that Self within you in all its majesty and glory - then, there is nothing the world can give you that is going to mean too much from that point on.

God says, "Sure, if you want to keep me out of there, that's fine with me. I'm in no rush." And God lets you have what you indicate you want - that thing you are protecting. Often, as soon as you are honest with yourself about it - and that means you just acknowledge, "Yes, that's there in me" - this allows it to start to move because you are no longer denying its existence.

Remember to be compassionate and merciful towards yourself and others.

We're in the flesh, and this is where we're going to work out much of our karma. We'll work out a good percentage of it here and the rest of it in the negative or psychic worlds while the body is sleeping. If you don't get hung-up on the physical world, you can feel yourself lifting.

The Bible talks about how there's a season for this and a season for that, and you just participate in what season you care to and allow other people to participate the same way. In that you'll find freedom. In the Spirit you'll find liberation. And if that's all going to happen, we might just as well laugh and live in grace.

So many people now are running so fast to get away from themselves, yet we have to come back to the Self; we have to come back to it in a natural, orderly way.

Dishonesty forfeits divine aid. We are co-creators with God. If you are not honest with yourself, you are not being honest with God and not allowing God to come to your aid. This applies on the spiritual levels (inner and outer), and it filters into the physical level.

You prepare for the worst, hope for the best and shoot down the middle. And when you support yourself and believe in yourself, you can bring about positive, directed changes in yourself and in the world.

If you look for what is beautiful in everything that happens, you'll find the secret of the great spiritual Masters, which is that everything is in its right and proper place, even if you cannot see it yet.

We all can work on harmonizing with God so that all things are possible. The first choice is God. When we make that choice, then all things are added unto us. As it says in Scripture, seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven, and then all things will be added unto you [Matthew 6:33].

The things that are to be done physically, do physically. The things that are to be done emotionally, do emotionally. And when you blend them into one action, you have changed your behavior. The change in behavior brings rewards - the rewards of new opportunities, new abilities and new life.

The Traveler teaches longevity in order to release as much karma as possible. If we cut that process short, we cut it short only in terms of this world now; we don't really cut it short at all. In an even larger sense, not one Soul will be lost and God loves all of Its creation. So, in time, the lessons will be learned, the Soul will return to God, and all will be well.

And the truth is what we're all after - no matter where it's found.

How, then, do we live in this world? How can we gain? What can our goal be? For God's sake, don't have a goal in this world. It's going to beat you bloody. Where is the goal? The goal is inside. When you turn back inside, you have your goal, you have your completeness, you have your fullness and you walk through the world, having all else added unto you.

When we have doubts or fears or when we judge ourselves, we can always let go and choose into the blessings of happiness.

You learn to use the wisdoms to step forward in those areas that are for your highest good.

One key to liberation is eternal vigilance. Salvation is a daily job, a nightly job, and an eternal job. If you enter into spiritual discipline and gain a certain level of awareness, you are responsible for that expansion, and you are responsible for continuing it. You can't stop and "rest on your laurels." It doesn't work that way. You keep going.
